Our mission includes creating awareness because seconds count when someone suffers from Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA). Preparation is important but so is prevention. We want to promote testing to identify heart conditions and related medical issues so that everyone can live a healthy, long life.

We are always training someone somewhere! Acquiring the skills and knowledge to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) properly is easy to learn. It takes people who care enough to learn how to save a life. If you cannot make one of our scheduled training sessions, contact us. We can prepare a custom training session for your group.

Hoops for Heart Health has been very successful in placing AEDs where they will help in an emergency. If you know of a public recreation area that lacks an AED, tell us about it. Or, share your story about placing an AED!

Hoops for Heart Health is a community, made up of people who have experienced SCA in one way or another. Some of our stories are of tremendous loss and others are of the incredible triumph of saving a life.

Whether you have had an experience with SCA or would like to prepare yourself to save a life in a SCA emergency, please join our community by checking back on this page for more information or visiting some of Ryan’s Friends:
